This was my first time here and what a pleasant surprise. Derrick, our server was such a delight and not just service but knowledge of the menu and making wonderful recommendations. The food was outstanding, flavorful, delicious, and satisfying. And the ambience was superb. I kept looking around thinking this feels family and foreign and exciting to try something new and when Derrick, recommended the Turkish coffee... it was an absolutely lovely experience. I had high expectations for this Greek bistro based on the reviews and photos, but my visit completely exceeded them! From the beautiful ambiance to the excellent service and incredible food, everything was spot on. I'm a huge fan of Greek cuisine, but it's rare to find a place that truly impresses me, this is now one of my top three Greek spots in LA! The octopus was some of the best I've ever had, reminds me of what you'd find in Greece. The branzino was cooked to perfection, and luleh kabob is never my go-to, so it was ok for me. The Dante fries were delicious (even though I don't typically go for appetizers like this), and the dips were all fantastic. As a big fan of avgolemono soup, I was thrilled that they made it exactly the way I love it. Whether you're coming with a small group or a large party, the space is accommodating with plenty of seating. This place has officially become a go-to for me, and I can't wait to return!
We came here the other day. The restaurant itself is very cute with the decor. They could clean up the bathroom a bit. It was messy and not maintained well. The food is delicious. I got the chicken bowl. For apps we got the lemon potatoes and saganaki.
Stopped for a quick drink before our dinner reservations at Raffi's Place. The place is absolutely gorgeous and a cool vibe. The drinks were really good and the bartender was really cool! I'll come back to try their food for sure :)
The restaurant has more than 50 employees from all over the world, and they are proud of the history of the restaurant. During the meal, we also had a good exchange with tourists from Poland and France at the next table, and everyone gave the restaurant a good evaluation.
The food was absolutely amazing!! Everything was so fresh and the service was great! Oksana was super helpful and made sure everything was taken care of for us! I highly recommend this place and asking for Oksana as the server!
We went without a reservation & waited 45min for a table of 7, on a Tuesday night. That tells you how popular the restaurant is. They had fantastic ambiance, phenomenal food, from appetizers to the main dishes. The food was prepared very quickly. The servers were very kind and attentive. Shout out to George for taking great care of us! There was also, parking attached to the restaurant with the first 90min being free. Overall A+ experience! Thank you, this satisfied my Greek food craving.
My friend and I went to Greek Bistro for happy hour, or I should say happy hours. This place is cozy and has beautiful decor and ambience. The staff is super friendly, even the manager came to say hello to us. I ordered the filet bowl, one of the best bowls I tasted. The steak melts in your mouth. My friend and I ordered the Mezcalita, wow, that was a strong and delicious drink. Lastly plenty of parking. Check it out, you won't be disappointed Cheers, Barbara
Had a great meal at the bar, recommended by Patrick the bartender. I just come from work out so he recommended me to get the fitness plate and I got a chicken and a shrimp skewer with two sides. The ambiance is really nice and the food quality is excellent. Highly recommended!
Aaron took great care of us! He was very patient w our indecision and very attentive about my allergies and our special requests. Lemon potatoes - crispy, and fluffy, with a really well balanced lemon flavor. Delicious feta. Just great! Really silly tiny serving spoon that came with them, but I figured this keeps you from eating them too fast and ending up with no room for your meal Saganaki Fried cheese - fabulous! Nicely fried, and melty. Not heavy on brandy taste, so you can actually taste the cheese. Beware, it's hothothot cheese lava straight off the skillet, in case you're prone to over excitement like me Opa! Filet & gyro plate - great rice, wonderfully soft filet cooked on the rare side of medium rare, as requested. Gyro good but not our favorite. Pastitsio - solid, long noodle rather than the macaroni I have had before, more tomato-forward sauce. The dressing on the Greek salad was excellent. Sangria - Fruity, sweet and refreshing. This is a huge space, the walls all open up for some delightful airflow in hotter weather, lovely color scheme and general feel of the decor. This would be a great restaurant for all kinds of occasions, from the fancier to the more casual. The music is great and not too loud to converse over. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The prices were expensive, but the quality was high, so it felt worth it! Since they do such a nice job cooking everything else with care, I'd be interested to try their fish! It's hard to find a place that doesn't overcook their fish these days, but it seems like these guys would do a good job! Lol, I forgot to take pictures of our main dishes, we were already so engrossed in eating when they arrived that's a good sign!
